Due to Covid-19 restrictions: Freezer items will be place outside our office for pick up at a pre-determined time. Please bring a your own bag.

Call 709-497-8406 to make arrangements for your monthly items.

Items can be delivered for those who can not get out to pick up your order.

Smoked Char
Fresh and Corned Cod
Cod Tongue
Whole chicken
Beef Roast
Frozen Berries (Red, Strawberries, Blueberries and Mixed Berries)
Frozen Vegetables (California Style)
Juice (Apple or Orange)
Multi purpose Cleaner

Freezer stock changes often, please call 497-8406 to get the most up to date list of items and to arrange a pick up time.

The community freezer is open every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning from 9 to 12 noon.

Eligible clients include beneficiaries of the Nunatsiavut Government (NG) who are 55 years of age and older, single parents and people with disabilities.

You may access the freezer once per month per household.

Starting at 1 PM at North West River Beach, there will be outdoor games and activities taking place for all ages, including a Labrathon, snowshoe races, tug of war, three-legged race, and more!

Following the activities, there will be a supper at the community centre. Come out and have fun!
